update and question
by Henry High
(Tupelo,MS)
I used your service in Feb and then got off track by working on twitter for a long time this summer. Big mistake! I started back and now have added 12 more articles to my site. I have added then at the rate of more than one page a day. When I check my search engine report I see that only my index site is listed by all the engines and the rest of the pages aren't listed yet. The question is What is a realistic expectation of time from the when the page gets sent in by SBI until it gets listed?
is there anything I can do to excellerate the process?
Answer Henry, there is no "norm" when it comes to search engines. They do things in their own time. Your best bet to get listed quickly is to follow the Action Guide, especially the part about setting up your sitemap with Google et al. Also do some deep linking to the new pages and they may get found sooner.
Be sure, too, that you have requested an updated SEHQ report. You might be looking at old numbers.
