I am now at the point where I ned to put my book on my site. (words-of-Inspiration.org) I know that I will have to post the first few chapters of the book for people to read and then order the book to finish. Since I use a mac, I can set up a pdf file very easily with password protection. My idea currently is to add about the first 75 to 100 pages of the book through block by block which would add about 40 pages to my site. Then add the pdf file for a fee.
Does this sound workable?
Second question has to do with monetizing my inspiration site. Obviously ad sense would work but what about anything else?

It sounds like you have given this a lot of thought. And it sounds like you are headed in the right direction. Couple of notes:
1. Make sure those pages are based on strong keywords from your MKL. If they are not, your site won't be ranked at all.
2. If I were you, I would expand the site beyond 40 pages. I know that 40 pages sounds like a lot now, but you will be competing against sites with thousands of pages. See if you can take some of your ideas (and keywords) and expand upon them.
