Your SBI Coach web coaching

(As inspired by Ernestine)

One ringy dingy.  Two ringy dingy ...

And while we're talking, I suppose you wonder what makes me such an expert on SBI.  The answer is simple:  Not a silly thing.

There are many tortoise folk who can run circles around me.

But I do remember how it was with the first site.  There is just so much, and there is more every year.  I honestly wondered what in heaven's name I had gotten myself into, and I had built several websites before I came to SBI!  The real newbie must think we have all flipped our cookies.

Early on I volunteered to be a Moderator on the Forums, a great experience.  And I was very pleased to be chosen as one of ten SBI "experts" who coached at the Chicago boot camp in July 2006.  That conference gave me far more than I gave it (a common refrain among all the coaches), and has encouraged me to share my knowledge here.

I am at this point passionately in love with SBI and all it has to offer.  There is no way I can live long enough to learn everything I would like to know.  But what I do know, I would like to share with you.

So let's go on an adventure together.  I'm game.  Are you?

Best,

From Ken Evoy, our Head Tortoise:

Mary Ann,

Sheer brilliance!

To anyone reading this post, please read the first two posts at the top of this page.  Mary Ann's reply is more than just turning lemons into lemonade, and very creatively I must add (which itself is a tremendous lesson)!

It's a post about attitude.  It is totally natural for Joanna to respond the way she did.  It's infuriating to see low-lifes copy your brainpower.  Bit then ...
