E-Junkie as a Shopping Cart

Hi Maryann, Things are going great and I am getting busier and busier. I am averaging around 3 calls a day and have been getting a fair amount of sales from them. I am getting a lot of calls from homeowners for very small orders and they seem to take more time than the large commercial orders. In fact I put in about the same amount of work for 80 sq ft of material for a homeowner as I do for a 10,000 sq ft commercial gym by the time the quoting, freight rates and shipping is all taken care of.

Your email about e junkie just came through and the timing on it is very interesting. You see I have been thinking a lot about putting up some kind of store with package deals that would be targeted towards the homeowner. I have visited several sites that sell both to home owners and to the commercial market and they have already packaged deals specifically directed toward the homeowner market.

For example, one package might be an 8' x 8' home gym mat in blue, another might be a 10' x 10' in black etc.

I have been thinking about dropping any residential offerings due to the small orders but if I could make it work with E Junkie that would be perfect. All the information they need and a way to order without taking up a lot of phone time. I would still be available of course to answer any questions but if everything was right in front of them including pricing, shipping, lead times etc it could save me countless hours.

I have not heard anything about E Junkie before and you mentioned that it was going to available through Site Sell. You know my website and what I sell and I just wanted to get your thoughts on it.

I have just added 5 new lines so I have a ton of work to do and will be able to add probably 40 -50 pages with my 5 new lines. If I could make this work and simply offer packages to the homeowner that would free up a lot of time to build more pages.

Let me know what you think and thanks for all the help. Having a website that is generating calls is very exciting and I think the sky is the limit once my site grows and matures.
