Contact Info on Day 6 of SBI Site Building?

by Dave
(Toronto)

Hi everyone, One pesky question coming up;-)
I've been doing my business off-line for close to 15 years now. I teach guitar/music privately. Typical pattern - I work and earn well from mid Sept. until end of June. Summer is VERY lean. I like the break, but I'd like to keep a little more cash flow going until I can make my SBI journey fly. My longer term MWR is to sell my own Video lessons and e-books, along with other income streams.

That's why SBI was so exciting for me. Maybe in the meantime, I can find a few students in the Toronto area who ARE available in summer months - y'know, a little cash flow!

I have a keyword "Toronto guitar lessons" - it's good. Demand about 115 and Supply at 66. MaryAnn actually suggested in SBI forums to use it as a Tier 2. (That's how I found out about her :-)

I'm about to put the page online. BUT, I'm still getting through Day 6. I actually just finished redoing my SiteBlueprint - and I'm rrready to again start building pages. I haven't gotten to Day 8 and Form Build It yet. I was going to put my phone number on the Toronto T2 page so if anyone wants to set up lessons (I'm leading for people in the summer) - they can call me. Is that cool for now?

Is it best to simply wait until I'm at Day 8 before posting e-mail contact form? Or, skip ahead to this procedure and come back to Day 6? I'm DYIN' to start writing and build traffic, etc.

Thanks,
Dave

When To Do A Contact Form
by: MaryAnn

Dave, you've been around a while with your brick and mortar business, and I tend to make allowances for them. So go ahead with your Contact Form. It would be a nice way of letting your current clients reach you. So I would jump ahead to the "Contact form" section, and add in the Contact Form page any time.

Generally, people don't seem as concerned about putting real phone numbers on their sites as they do about putting real email addresses. I know the email address get harvested by nosey little bots, but I don't think it happens so much with phone numbers. Most of the numbers online are business numbers, not personal ones, so maybe they aren't prime targets for the pressure cooker guys.
